<- that's the painting, bro. CHECK IT OUT. LOVE ON IT. <3the official title is "complete my fate"; the title is "come & save me" on dA, however.
so, i put up my first ever painting to maybe be accepted in the springville art museum highschool art show a few weeks ago. i didn't really think i'd get anywhere, but just having my piece out in the hall of our school would be cool. when the judges came that afternoon, i guess the liked it because i showed up the next morning & found i'd been accepted into the preliminary judging to get into the art show itself. i was super stoked, but STILL didn't think it was up to par.
i ended up getting past that set of judges at the museum & into the show. <3
i was so amazed! my first try at getting a piece into a show & i made it. it seriously means so much to me.
my parents are super proud, & it validated what art skills i was unsure about having. i mean, i knew i could draw, but i wasn't sure if i'd ever really be liked by anyone.
so, thank you to the springville art museum for accepting me into the show. <3
